ABOUT THE BAND:
The Madisonville Marching Maroons are a highly successful and decorated program. They are under the direction of Randy Adams,  Alan Emerson, and Cory Mullins. They have won the KMEA State Championship in  Class 4A, 10 years in a row (2005 through 2014), and have had 22 KMEA State Finals appearances since 1986. The band has won the title of Grand Champion eight times at the prestigious Murray State Festival of Champions, as well as twice at the Kentucky Pageantry Arts Association competition.  The band has appeared in the Macy's Parade, Coca Cola Centenial  Parade (Atlanta GA-1986) , President Clinton's Second Inauguration, The World  War II monument dedication Memorial Day Parade  (Washington DC 2004), Citrus Bowl Parade (2007), and the Walt Disney World New Years Day Parade (2007 & 2015). In dedication to the band's accomplishments, a road sign has been added near the  entrance of the school to honor the reigning 4A state champions for their 10 time consecutive State Championship titles! The Madisonville North Hopkins Concert and  Symphonic Bands were selected through audition, to perform at the New  York Wind Band Festival held at Carnegie Hall, in February 2012.
