We Need your help, if you are a parent, grandparent, or sibling please take the time to fill out the above form to help make the Marching Marrons the best they can be. We need volunteers to help in Concessions, Pit Crew, Chaperones, help with the Maroon Classic that we host each marching session.

BACKGROUND CHECK INFO

Info from Mrs. Elkins, Hopkins Co Schools, Director of Human Resources (3 May 2021)-

Child Abuse and Neglect (CA/N)background checks are now required for any persons working directly with or having supervisory roles over students and must be completed via the online platform. With this online platform, the parent/volunteer will be required to create their own account and the background check results will come directly back to them. The parent/volunteer will be asked to forward all information to the Human Resources Department so that we can provide clearance to the school. The CA/N check fee is $10.00 and is payable at the time of completion through the online pay portal.

If parents/volunteers have an initial Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) background check completed already, we will be able to email them what they need to do for the CA/N check and possibly save them from having to schedule an in-person appointment. However, If they have not had an AOC, then they will have to schedule an appointment. Since we work by appointment only due to employee processing, parents/volunteers may call 270-825-6000 and ask to speak with Holly Irvin, Personnel Specialist, or Ann Elkins, Director of Human Resources, and we will be happy to assist!
